The cooperation with the designer George Styler, has resulted into a great success at the London Fashion Week and into pieces of clothing, which, in a very inventive way, connect tradition and contemporary fashion. These exclusive fashion items are made by order and with a possibility of adjusting to the customer’s measures.
Young and exceptionally talented photographer Djordje Bukvic every time anew creates his image of Sirogojno Style. We are looking forward to any future cooperation and situation to see ourselves through the magic Djordje’s lens.
Danijela Velimirović, a docent at the Department for Ethnology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, together with her students, has been carrying out an extensive research, which deals with the creation of Dobrila Vasiljevic Smiljanic and different aspects of production of the Sirogojno knitwear. Danijela is also the author of the exhibition “Sirogojno and Dobrila - One Story”, with which The Belgrade Fashion Week was opened at the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade on 28th March 2013.
Young designer Bojana Colic presented in 2012 her first author collection in rich colours, inspired by the nature of Zlatibor and the creation of Dobrila Smiljanic. Some of Bojana’s models are still in the offer.
